My name is Kristian Nino Sala and I am 10 years old. My favorite subjects are English and Mathematics. My father’s name is Cres Lawrence Sala and my mother’s name is Lovelyn Sala. I have 1 sibling - my older sister Kristine Sala. My hobbies include playing basketball and playing online games.
I’m always asked by my parents and relatives, what I want to be when I grow up and I know they usually ask this question to encourage me about my future. It seems like an easy question, but its not. Not many children know what they want to be when they grow up but many of us would say those careers that we think are popular such as being a police officer, nurse ,teacher or being a doctor. For me the first thing that comes to my mind would be to become a famous actor or idol. Whenever I say this to them, they would just laugh at me . But I love to sing, dance and act. Sometimes, I get sad when they react that way but mom says I can become whatever I want.
Well! Im proud to say that I am an actor now. It all started last year - 2020, during my online schooling. I joined a school video contest entitled “My Hopes for 2021”. My mom hired a camera man to shoot my video. It was done perfectly, in fact , I won first prize! I was so happy and my family was so proud of me. A director saw my video and he asked me if I'm interested to join their movie. My dreams came to light. Every Sunday, we have to shoot in different locations. My parents patiently wait for my turn to end. I am so thankful to them. They motivate me to passionately work towards achieving my dreams. Because of this movie, I got to meet new people. Because of movie, I have been able to build up my confidence when speaking to others coz in school I usually get stage fright and run off. I have learned to be more confident with myself in everything I do because I know most people won’t do what I can do.
The greatest feeling in the world? I think so! Just being able to be yourself and enjoy something you love to do is possibly one of the most magnificent, pleasant, happiest feelings one could ever have. It is practically euphoria.
Remember that you are never too old to dream, life is short, live it to the fullest. Never
stop dreaming!
